I just received this guitar yesterday (04-04-24), and it is in excellent condition, with very little tuning necessary to start playing! I have played guitar for 5-6 years and this is the first guitar that I have bought new. I researched for 2 months, then I needed to wait for another month while they restocked. However, the guitar arrived in one week instead of the expected two week wait. I play a variety of music, including worship music (strumming), classical, and percussive fingerstyle. It plays incredibly well in all scenarios, and the percussive bass is amazing and rich. The guitar itself looks beautiful, and I am excited to hang it on my wall so I can look at it more! I have no experience with pickups, but I am surprised and very happy to see that it is well hidden inside the guitar (I actually thought I had ordered one without the pickup for a few minutes). The pickup had a battery in it, charged and ready to go! The bag that came with is much nicer than I was expecting, with soft padding on the inside and backpack straps (my experience includes bags little more than a Walmart bag). I would totally order from Orangewood again, but hopefully this guitar lasts forever! Until then, I'll be referring friends looking for affordable guitars.
