I own two Orangewood guitars now. I was so inspired by my Oliver Mahogany Live, that I just had to have the Sage Mahogany Live. Now I have a one great guitar at home for practicing and another at the church where I work and play most of my music. I’m able to do this because of the quality and the price point of these instruments. I’m so glad I discovered Orangewood!
I'm a 60 year old male who decided just a couple years ago to learn to play the guitar. I purchased an Oliver a few years ago. for the money a nice guitar. As I got better at playing, I could notice and sense that it may be time to advance to the next level. Well This Sage sounds great and plays very well. I've not played any other makes yet to compare, but I'll bet this Sage would be right up there with some of the much higher end brands. It came with heavier strings that I typically use, but I'm actually playing them well. Thank you Steven P.
If by just "OK" one means "Orangewood is a Knockout"!! Lovely instrument, way above my paygrade, hoping the inspiration and hard work will come with a promotion. Thanks Orangewood.
I went to Sweetwaters retail store and tried a bunch of high end martins and Taylors. Then I ordered the Sage Live. It plays and sounds as good or better than any guitar I tried! It’s beautiful and sounds amazing
It looked beautiful and felt great playing. The only knock i have was the battery placement. It wasn't really accessible without loosening all the strings. If they resolved that design issue i would buy that guitar back again almost instantly. I only had it for a day so i can't comment on the longevity. It does seem like a great value for the price.
