Stop saying they compare to a Taylor or Martin

Iv owned 3 orangewoods,I see people say they “play as good as my Taylor/Martin !” Iv given all of these away to beginnings and family members, and guess what I still have my Taylor, I’m not saying that there terrible guitars I think for a beginning that has limited money and doesn’t want to spend 500-1000 bucks sure buy one, if you want something you have don’t care if it gets smashed or beaten up sure buy one,but I constantly see on YouTube reviews hyping these up,which is also why I tried a few out I owned the Rey Mahogany and the oliver ceder and mahogany,my two biggest issue are 1. The body itself doesn’t feel like real wood to me 2. The back of the neck doesn’t feel like wood I hate the way it feels in my hands just really cheap and maybe not even wood at all, the playability is okay on them I’ll give them that, everybody always making a huge deal out of the set up,they all act like you can’t go on YouTube and SET YOUR GUITAR UP WITH TWO TOOLS I’m really not trying to completely hate on the company or the guitars like I said before the have a purpose, in my person opinion I’d much rather save my money and get a Taylor or a Martin, I’m tired of seeing all these “real” reviews and felt I need to share.

Near Taylor quality and 1/3 the price!

I've bought and sold several acoustic guitars over the years ranging in price from sub $100 to $500. I've had difficulty finding the one that had the right feel for my meager budget.
I've owned a Taylor Big Baby and currently own a Taylor Academy 10. Each cost around $500, which is an expensive guitar for me. I prefer to play fingerstyle, and wanted a second guitar with a little wider neck to keep at the office to play on 'breaks' during the day. ;-) The Oliver was a perfect fit. I got it on sale for $166. In my opinion, while the guitar snobs will pass due to it not having a recognizable last name on the headstock, the feel and sound of this guitar is a great budget option for anyone wanting a quality guitar at a great price. The gig bag is exceptional as well.

Beautiful and good.!

I’m very pleased with my Oliver Mahogany guitar. I just received it Jan 7-21. I had been looking for something affordable but with a good sound, but there aren’t many options, most surpassed my budget. I’m an amateur player but I can appreciate a decent guitar so this Oliver M is just what I wanted. It is beautiful, (to me, the finish is more matte than satin but it looks good -like a chocolate color) I’m planning on buying a different pick guard and maybe a decal to make it more feminine. I’m also going to change the tuning pegs. I love the sound, - what a difference from my cheap made old guitar (for around the price of this Oliver M), I love the playability, my hands are small but I really like how it feels. I definitely recommend this guitar. Another plus is the financing options. Thank you Orangewood guitars for your beautiful and great work!

Undeniably Beautifully Made Guitar - Oliver M

It’s been a long time since I played a guitar. I’m not a pro, I just play casually at home. I left my first one back at my home country and I can’t deny that I miss playing. It took me awhile to choose which brands to buy and I’m so happy to find Orangewood Guitars online. I fell in love with the Oliver Mahogany. It’s a head turner. After I did some further research and video reviews on YouTube, I never think twice so I buy one before the Christmas Day. It took awhile for the guitar to arrived and I received it today (01/10/21) and wow it’s really is worth the wait!!! It’s already playable right out of the box!!! Unbox it and boom! Start playing! As for the guitar itself, it’s undeniably beautifully made. Mine has no material flaws and it reminds me of the Taylor Guitar. It’s sound is rich and whole. I’m beyond satisfied with my purchase of the Oliver Mahogany. Two thumbs up for the whole Orangewood Guitar Team!!!

great first guitar!

I should preface this by saying that I don't know much about guitars, and this is my first guitar. I love it! It's such a beautiful color and it sounds lovely. It makes me excited to learn, which really is the most I could ask for from a guitar. I recommend buying the accessory kit with it if you're a beginner because it has some useful items!
