Finally got my mahogany Oliver Jr!

Been dreaming of an Orangewood Oliver Jr. mahogany for a while and finally pulled the trigger due to a coupon code from Youtube contributor. It came in less than a week. Very impressed with the shipping speed. First impressions: far and away the best gig bag I've ever seen at this price point! I was hoping to get one with nice grain and it was gorgeous! Action was set up perfect, nice and low. Fret dressing and overall fit and finish were SUPERB for a guitar in this price range. I was curious about the neck profile and it feels great now that I finally got my hands on it. Radius is a tad rounder than I expected. Tuners are solid and stable. I would be over the moon if not for a couple of issues though. One very minor disappointment was the neck scarf joint is a quite different grain so the stain/color really stands out in contrast. Not a biggie, just a tiny gripe and it's not really noticeable when playing. The other issue is bigger. My first strum is always a G chord and the A string sounded dull and thunky. Especially at the second fret but other places too. Neck relief looks okay to me and there isn't any other buzzing, but the A string just sounds dull. I don't care for the Ernie Ball strings anyway and plan to change to my preferred Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze 11s soon so maybe that will solve the issue. I bought the mahogany because the hog GS-Mini from Taylor always sounds so good and balanced. This thing competes at 40% the price! Those two minor issues prevent a 5 star review but I am very happy and the quality on this guitar is exceptional for the money. Bone nut/saddle, solid top, body binding, smooth fret ends, and great setup. Super value.

Oliver Jr fills my need for a smaller guitar completely.

Looks good. So far sounds good too. And my less than big hands appreciate it.

Love my Orangewood Oliver Mahogany Jr.!

This is a very well made guitar. I am recovering from back surgery and am playing in my zerogravity chair while I heal! Price vs. Quality can not be beat!

Excellent

The sound is amazing right out of the box. There's no other guitar, at that price, that compares to it.

Lovely Guitar! I Can't Put It Down.

I got my guitar in a matter of two days (probably because I'm only hours away from Orange), but even still it's pretty amazing to get it early. This is my very first guitar and I am not disappointed at all. I've been learning for a while just borrowing my Uncle's, but now having one of my own especially at this value price is mind-blowing! It's a beautiful and elegant looking guitar. It's also very nice sounding all around. The setup was also to my liking and I'm just overall very happy with my purchase. Definitely will continue shopping here. Thank you so much Orangewood! Keep it up!
