An all solid dreadnought with a torrefied spruce top, Hudson evokes a bold and crisp sound that is perfect for performing (whether it’s on stage, at home, or in the woods) - making it a versatile companion for the rising singer-songwriter.
Note: Torrefaction is a unique baking process. Every guitar is one of a kind, and the finish may slightly vary in color.

I just purchased an Orangewood Hudson with torrefied spruce top and it is a great guitar. This is my second Orangewood--I purchased the Oliver mahogany about a year ago--and have been very impressed with both, The Hudson is a beautiful guitar, great tone and volume, and also great fit and finish. Setup is terrific, plays like butter. I would definitely recommend Orangewood guitars to anyone looking for a good quality, great bang-for-the-buck guitar.
Im pretty critical with my guitars BUT there's nothing I don't love about my new Hudson . Set up is good to go right out of the box , Sound is well balanced with lows ,miss, and highs all in HARMONY Love the satin finish .This beauty is together in every way . ORANGEWOOD WOW! Small wonder the HUDSON IS A BEST SELLER
I am fairly new to guitar started my journey learning about 6 months ago. started with electric but really wanted an acoustic. I was watching a Video on the Music is Win youtube channel, and he talked about the orangewood Austin and what a great guitar it was.
checked out your website and saw the almost perfect sale... took a chance
So glad i did!!! what a sweet guitar can't find anything wrong with it it was set up perfect and only the low E needed to be tuned slightly
the only drawback for me is the size, it is big as dreadnoughts are. I'm sure I'll grow accustomed to it in time
I'll be looking for a electric-acoustic sometime in the future and i know where my first stop will be !! ORANGEWOOD
I bought a Hudson, solid wood dreadnought, to test for my students. The guitar had a nice set up, was easy to play and sounded good enough to motivate beginners just learning how to play. The craftsmanship and finish were excellent. I will recommend these guitars for my students looking for a good value in an acoustic guitar.
This Hudson has a really sweet sound to it! Big Sweet Sound! Better than I expected! It will age beautifully! It’s a young one. There is still the aroma of freshly cut wood in it. Nice touch. The guitar appearance is perfect… a little understated with the soft mat finish. No blemishes. It stands out amongst other guitars. My only criticism (comment) is that the action was not set to standard. It is nothing that cannot be tended too. Everyone has their sweet spot for action settings. It will play even better when corrected. You all are making really nice guitars for the price. It won’t be my last. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Thanks Orangewood.
