I thought that i would like the Dana model for portability, but its just too small. I wish that I had bought one of the standard sized guitars. It is very well made and sounds very nice, but its a bit of a cramp for me to play.
First guitar ever, love it. Learning to play and so far, so good. Nice size for me.
I've owned this for a few weeks. My first Orangewood was the Mahogany Live Jr, which I love, especially after restringing it with Elixir phosphor bronze mediums. The Jr is my go to acoustic guitar. It sounds great plugged in, especially ran through a foot pedal EQ. With the Sage you get what you pay for. It has nice finish work, and I think the strings are different/better than what came on my Jr. It plays well considering the price tag, and is a very pretty guitar. Where is lacks is that it's very sensitive to temperature changes, especially when drastic, and that really impacts the truss rod/action. I have to tune it more too, compared to my Jr or Alvarez, but both are more expensive guitars. Overall, a good starter guitar, or travel/campfire instrument. Orangewood has good customer service, and they stand behind their products.
