Great guitar at an unbelievable price. Had to do setup the truss-rod and lower the saddle nut a little bit. The guitar sounds amazing and the build quality is exceptional for the price.
Thank you for your review! Glad everything worked out, thanks for choosing Orangewood!
The Dana Mahogany Mini is a real value! One of the best quality guitars you can buy for the price!
What a great little guitar. I wanted (did not need, says my wife) a travel size guitar and found this beauty. For a little over 100 bucks, what can you lose? It's great. Has a great sound, no concerns for voice or tone for the makeup. If you're looking for an inexpensive travel guitar, do it, buy it, you won't regret it.
I would add, it may need a little refining. The truss rod needed an adjustment, but Orangewood has a great help site that shows you the proper way to make those adjustments. The frets may also need a little cleaning up on the ends, but for the price, it really shouldn't be a turn off if you know how to use YouTube. I also replaced the strings, but that's just a personal preference. You can make the ones that come with it work for sure.
Enjoy IT!!! I will.
Best guitar for the money tone is good and super easy to play
The guitar is nicely built. Not a flaw on it and I like the open pore mahogany. But I’m disappointed in the tone. Due to the layered mahogany it’s just kind of dead sounding. I regret The purchase now and I even considered returning it and ordering the Oliver Junior which has a solid mahogany top. But it’s not available apparently.
